A Sign of Spring
This painting was done in casein. The subject matter is dear to me as my Grandfather tapped maple trees in the spring. I can remember making maple toffee in the snow with him.
Dear Wendy, this is one of my favourites. i am no stranger to the sugar bush and when i look at that painting i can almost feel the warmth of the spring sunshine. Is it for sale
Hi Grant, I am sorry that it has taken me so long to respond. I just figured out the mechanics of the site and how to write back. Yes, it is for sale and is on display at Village Studios on Downie Street in Stratford.
I am a graduate of the Illustration program at Sheridan College of Applied Arts and Technology. After working in the art field for a few years I went back to get my BA in Visual Arts through The University of Western Ontario. I have been teaching art at the secondary school level for 23 years.
I am an artist member of Gallery 96 in Stratford, Ontario.
